Podcast
This podcast is on science and ship strikes. This podcast has an expert on ship strikes and the animals hit by the ships talking to the host of the podcast. He has disscussed the damage of the animal and ships made by the two running into eachother. Also why the animals get so close to the ships; which is mainly because they are curios. He also talkes about other things pertaining to the subject of animals and ship collisions. This podcast is very educational on the subject being talked about and people like listening to podcasts better than text because it makes it easier to pay attention to it, and is easyier to relate to.

CyberBully
I thought the movie was pretty good. It really showed how words can hurt and how bad bullying on the internet can be. The movie and some real life cases are pretty simular; the person was bullied on line and it went so far that they wanted to commit suicide. Usually the people being bullied don't go back to the bully and stand up to them but in the movie she did. Like simular cases some good comes out of it and laws are passed as they started to do at the end of the movie. It also showed how the bully can be online and say things that at the time don't seem to be mean and hurt the person but actually do. This movie was educational and showed the extent of cyberbulling and how bad it can actually be.

Technology Article
Twitter: often first, not always right-- This article tells how people on twitter sometimes post things about events before the press does. They used the example with news about Whitney Houston's death being posted on twitter before the press even got word of it. It also said that even though things are posted on twitter they may not always be correct, and that people still trust the press over people posting on Twitter.

Comparing Avatar Sites
The sites for creating avatars are voki.com and blabberize.com. The site that I think is better is voki.com. This site lets you create your own avatar and seems easier to use than blabberize.com which has you use a picture then create the mouth(which is the difficult part). I would most likely use both sites. You could use these sites to create avatars for other classes. For example if you were doing a history project you could use blabberize.com; use a picture of the person for your project, and have them talk about their achievements and other things pertaining to your project. There are many good things and bad things about both sites (I prefer voki.com) and you can use both for many purposes.

Broken Friendship
A girl and her best friend always gave each other their passwords, such as for their emails. One day the girl got onto her email and a bunch of random emails from Senior boys came up in her email. She later found out that her friend gave her password to some girls and they put her head on someone else's body and sent it to all the Senior guys telling them things that she would do (although these things were a lie). The girl who's email it was was extremely sad and could not avoid all the snickers and laughs through out the halls at school. Her life was a disaster and her friendship broken.

Tracking Teresa
Teresa put out information like her brother's name, what she likes to do/ her interests, and her email address, in her profile, and her home phone and mother's name through an email. I like many other people have put information on the Internet for sites such as Facebook. The most important thing is to remember while using the Internet is to keep personal information private and don't share it with people you don't know or meet on the Internet.
